Am I correct in assuming that since you gave the link to the "large"lens that is the correct one to buy?
The one I have says Large on the packaging. From what I saw elsewhere: "Lenses 10-16mm requires small and 17-30mm requires large."
Darn... I ordered the small one based on the part number provided in this thread. Am I screwed or will it work?

Shouldn't charge tax unless they have a business in your state.

My bad, Brian, I was looking at the wrong one when I copied the numbers and they just happened to be transposed of each other. It will probably still work through. According to my ruler the actual lense on the HD700 is about 10/16". Sorry about that.

Looking at the back of my packaging the housing looks about the same:

Small 0.45x diam. 1.42" length 0.71" wgt. 1.1 oz
Large 0.45x diam. 1.41" length 0.71" wgt. 1.23 oz.

Doesn't seem to degrade video quality much from what I could tell from your clip. What about stills?
As promised, I went out and shot some stills today with and without the Phoenix 0.45x lens. Hand held, same postion (as close as possible) and as low as 1/20th sec. -- all at f3.5 in P mode. These are quick snaps as I was watching for security people, so don't expect perfect alignments:

Mistakes are made for those who look for them, I try to do something for everybody.

Thanks for posting the videos and stills.I definately want to get one. I'm still a little confused after reading the posts. For the HD700 do I want the small or large one?
