Hi,
I couldn't find any posts relating to this so sorry if this is repetition. My ageing Canon (MV3i) MiniDV camera and my Casio Z750 camera are both showing mechanical issues that makes them unreliable. I have been following the HD2 and HD1000 with interest however the CA65 with it's water and dust resistance would seem to fit my usage much better as like to be able to slip the device in my pocket and take it anywhere. Does anyone have any idea when we might see even a 720p device with the same feature set as the CA65? Truly I probably don't need HD, but then I'm loathed to invest in SD tech at this time. cheers for any insight... mrtotes |

I doubt anyone here knows and Sanyo probably won't announce anything until it's ready. If the E1 (CA65) was popular enough I can only imagine they would bring out an HD waterproof model. The AVC E1 (CA65) came out just a few months after their first AVC model, theCG65; so that gives a timeframeidea... if one ever does come out.
