Here's some pics of my new Sanyo VPC-E1 Waterproof Camorder/Camera.
This is my first Hybrid Camera and I'm hooked. What a great camera. I was worried that it would be hard to use and figure out how to watch my recordings on my computer but it's super easy and user friendly.

Also as you can see in the one photo it does have the threading for a tripod on the bottom of the camera.

The Adobe Photoshop SE software it came with even unloads and erases photos from my HP Digital Camera.

I found it at circuit city through one of their ebay links and it cost $401.00 plus $18.95 for overnight shipping.

The color says yellow on the sanyo website, but clearly it's a light gold sparkle and it looks awesome.

I'm using a 2GB SanDisc Ultra II Memory card with no problems:-)

I'll get some sample pics and vids up on here soon...

Yup, that's a nice cam, gotta love the waterproof.

BTW I noticed your posting in the Hybrid forum, the owner's manual is available from SanyoService.com: E1 Manual.

It's alsocalled the CA65 overseas, which might explain why you had difficulty findingthe manual online: CA65 manual.

Here's a sample photo I took today with the Sanyo VPC-E1 Waterproof Camera in normal camera mode.

And here's a short video I shot
