Hi there,
did a resolution test today with my Hd 1000.
Same chart tests with other cams are here: http://www.camcorder-test.com/
Please compare Result is not too bad for this small cam.

res chart sample of HD1000 with Raynox 5050pro
nice center sharpness but burry edges and much chromatic aberations.
If there is any better wide angle adapter is out?

The chromatic aberations of the Raynox 5050 is visible (if Izoom in the picture).

Questions: Where to you get this "standard sheet" for your tests? Download somewhere?How big it is?

Then everybody could make compareable test, with different lenses!

Finally i've got my Century Optics 0.55 wide angel adapter. It's really one class better then the Raynox. Way better border sharpness and less chromatic aberations. To get the lens in focus i had to set the autofocus to macro mode.

Urmel,
I have attached a resolution chart taken with the HD700 in 1280x720, ISO200, to show the lack of quality with the HD700 compared with the HD1000.

The two are like chalk and cheese. And you can see it in the video, as well as on test charts

Yup i see, the HD1000 ist ten times better even in 720p Mode.

OK, thanks. My HD1000 should arrive today, so I will be able to get a closer look at the chart comparison apples-apples. I am concerned that the ISO value may affect things (even though it shouldn't).
