One of my friend and myself bought it a week ago...
After a week still no chance to get this Firmware US/EUR ... So we have to put up with the JAP onscreen menu (even if the numerous icons help a lot...)
Keep searching for a solution and will post if we got any news.

;-)

Well, what's your knowledge of Japanese/Hiragana ? I know nothing and can only say hello/goodbye and a couple of words as well as read a few hiragana.

Could you honestly tell me if you manage to use it with the japanese onscreen menu ? The price difference is so f....ng huge that I really think I'm going to buy it anyway !

Regards,

Guillaume

Best is to prepare (with the French ;-) or English MANUAL PDF) some printing sheet that will help you to easily translate them...

Yeah, that's what I think : make my own mini guide.

Somebody just bought it here at my office and I hope to try it soon.

However, you didn't give me your opinion and japanese knowledge, so ?

A tout de suite !

Since i dont really care about menus and i am using it with the "SIMPLE" menu enabled, it's very easy for me to understand it (even i can't read Japanese...).
So it really depends on your level of use...

Well, you nearly conviced me. Could you give me more info to find the shop or get a discount in case the list price is not the one you mentioned ? Thanks.
