Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is a way I can take photos with a subject partial focus?
I can't seem to figure out a way to do this with my new HD1000;
Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm a predominantly a video guy and this is the only camera I actually have
that takes stills . . . Can I even do this, or do I need something with a manual focus?

Thank you in advance for any help,

The 1000 has a manual focus range. Its buried in Normal mode menu, Focus, Manual. Give this a try.
