Hello Newbee here. I was one of the first people to buy the Xacti HD1. I was very happy with the camera and have used it on two Hawaii vacations. Yesterday I took some video and the images were fuzzy. It was in broad daylight. The image on the screeen looked fuzzy as if I was in a low light situation. I actually cleaned the screen thinkg it was just smudged.:? I tried to reset all settings and still getting poor images even in HD mode. Pictures do not seem to be effected. I do not recal dropping or abusing the camera since I've owned it. I realize the camera is almost 3 years old now but I'm upset because I finnaly perfected my technique and was going to start posting vids on Youtube. Any suggestions? Oh and yes I did clean the lens before using as I always do.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Randy

Yes, I know. However for my purposes the video images are fine. I wanted to a small camera under $600.00. However the image issue I was having was definitely very noticeable. I guess the "poor" images were even worse before cleaning the contacts. It's back to taking satisfactory images again so I'm happy
