What is the largest SDHC card size that the Sanyo HD700 will recognize? Will it work with the new 16GB cards?

I have just purchased this camera but the booklet has sparse details.
And there's been zero response from Sanyo's Tech Support.

Thanks!

I use a 16 Gig card in mine. An A-Data class 6.

Thank you! I thought it might be able to handle this, but the book says "up to 8GB". I was thinking that might've been written before 16GB were available. Also, my booklet never mentions SDHC, but I see the logo all over the place. Many other camera booklets are quick to mention both SD and SDHC. I always thought they were mostly identical, except for not being readable unless the drive was made for them. I wonder if the SDHC readers distinguish between 8GB vs. 16GB as to readability...
