Has anyone checked out, or has samples of the still picture quality of both these cameras?

Main concerns are:

1- How is picture quality in general (indoor/outdoor?

2- Both cameras don't have face detection. Do faces appear to bloom? Are facial tones accurate?

3- How is picture quality if you enlarge pictures? 5"x7"? 8"x10"?

Thank you for a reply :?

:roll:Is it really necessary to create three threads to ask about the E1?? You could've asked all these questions in one thread.

Sorry about that. I guess my experience is that some people tend to ignore specific subjects that they have no intrest in . . . . providing fewer responses. I'm new to this. You're right. I'm comparing the E1 to the 700. I'll stick ti this thread.

I'm going to purcahse both and make my comparisons live and by feel.

Just one last question:

What's the maximum size SD cards that will work with both cameras so I know what to order?

Thanks for all who understand and help. :-)

I know the HD700 will take the 16gig SDHC cards no problem. I'm not sure about the E1 but if it says it supports SDHC cards then I'd imagine it should work with all sizes available.
