Can someone tell me which one is better?

I just got my HD 1000 after reading many reviews on the web. I understood the 1080i movie setting is to be avoided for many reason and the best is to stay with 720p. Even when not shooting fast moving subjects is best always to set the 720p at 60fps or the 30fps is ok for landscape and general pourpouses?

Thanks all for support on your feedback about best editing SW and best quality movie setting.

I use Magix VDL, the old 2006 "e" version. It do not support MP4 but ffdshow codecs do the job, after MP4Cam2AVI convert headers, from MP4 to AVI. Magix is 50€, ffdshow is free. Magix is full of fonctions and relatively easy to learn. I use Xactis from C1 and C6 to CG65, and I plan to by HD1010. I downloaded HD700 and HD1000 files from guys here and there, and MP4Cam2AVI/ffdshow/Magix can import and work with thoses vidéos.
