I have this marvellous camera, but i have one slight problem you guys might help me out with.

When i use the included nero to convert to DVD, it's really easy and the disk works.
The problem is that i use a SONY DVD player with HDMI output on a Sony 40" LCD full HD display, and the video seems "interlaced". Like its "edgy" on the sides of moving objects or people. If i use the camera directly on the TV it's smooth as water, but after conversion it's those edgy things. I switched to using the scart, and then it looks much better... pretty much ok, but via the HDMI it's wierd.

Any hints, or am i just stupid?

you need to deinterlace the video. Nero has a setting. In recode software

Then your nero is faulty or your missing something. Try DVDflick. After you are done with all the settings, you can deinterlace there. I have none problems.
