I have bought an excellent Sanyo Xacti HD1010.

I was wondering, if you looks at the specs for example here:
http://www.sanyo.com/news/2008/06/im...ifications.pdf

You can see that it is using 60 fields/sec in full hd, and 30 frames per second in other modes.

What setting should i use to shoot with to get the best results?
I have used 1280x720 in 60 fps so far.

Tips are very welcome... i love the new camera! :G

honestly? I love anything higher than 60fps. It is smooth and I can reduce the fps to 30fps anytime without loss of quality. I convert my videos from 720p to 1080p with a few tools and not miss any detail ending up with [email protected]

I have not seen technology available yet that converts 30fps to 60fps good enough yet.

Do not bother with interlaced video or 60 fields per second.

Thanks for that, thats what i needed to know.

Is my [email protected] fps setting, that i have used so far, optimal for this camera then? It looks great on my 40" lcd anyway! when i've used [email protected] fps it is not smooth video!
