WD TV player seems like a good buy @ $129 only, can it playback HD1010's 1080P file or 720P in 60FPS? Any lagging or choppy framerate issue? Thx.

I usually shoot in 1080P or 720P at 60 FPS (or 300FPS slow motion). All my videos play very smoothly with no issues at all from a portable hard disk.

I had lagging when I tried to play 1080P videos directly from the memory card using an unbranded card reader. Then I bought one Apacer memory card reader for 30 RM (Approximately 10 USD). Now no issues in playing the files directly from memory cards using this card reader.

I never tried to play 1080i videos. Will try to play and update this post later.

Cheers.

I've tested 1080i files as well. No issues.

Yes, I am currently living in Malaysia. I bought HD1010 online.

I heard that Sanyo was bought over buy some other company . I wonder if they will continue the production of HD1010.

No problem with Tvix 4100SH with 720P 60 PFS.
In local for sure, remotely it depends (NFS better than samba).

Price of the HD1010 is super low! if just feel the camera is worth every penny i spent.
Sanyo was bought by Panasonic! They are going to release a new HD camcorder but it is not going to be cheap.
