I just purshased the newSanyo Xacti hd800. The specificatons say that the camera accepts up 32 gb sdhc cards. Camera freezes and won't playback on 16 GB Sandisk video hd sdhc card. I've tried 2 of these cards. No luck!! I have tried the normal format and the full format per manual instructions-no luck. When I installed a 2 gb Kingston sd card from my other camera it worked perfectly. My suspicion is that this camcorder supports only 8gb the same as the HD700 did. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Great!! Then I'm heading in the right direction. Wish I would have known this before I purchased the 2 16 GB Sandisk cards. It would be nice for Sanyo to steer the purchasers of this camcorder in the right direction. I tried to contact their customer service-no luck. I Emailed them -never received a reply. Its good there is a site like this and good knowledgable people on it. Thanks very much for the help.
