I Would like to format the external hard drive like NTFS instead of FAT32 . (HD1000)

Can I do it ??

But your real question is if can xacti see the drive or format to ntfs?

So I must use FAT32 for XCATI Library or there is another format ?

fat32 is the only compatible type for all multimedia devices. the firmware only allowes fat32 and nothing else.

I wish these companies woulld stick there heads out of the dirt and use ext3 instead of proprietary partition types like the junky ntfs and fat32.
