Hi everybody,

what can i do with a father-age TV and a grandfather-age personal computer?

It's happy for me to get a sanyo HD1010 and have enjoyed muchto take Full HD pictures and videos. Besides doing it on the machine itself, I do displaythe 1080 video clips onthe oldTV set by use of the AV lead, butnot so satisfied with the picture qualityon the TV screen. Whatmakes me upset is toview themonmy pc ( it's an intel pentium 4, 1.6 GHZ only), 'cause i can get barely all slow- motioned ( with sound in advance) videos.

outputs on the docking station couldn't be loaded /actuated simultaneously. Another question will be the synchronization of the video and audio signals, even in case they could be transmitted at the same time from the Sanyo. I need advices from you all experienced friends. Thank you.

for a father aged tv, you can use your xacti like you would with dv and tapes and use your camera to output to the tv for presentation. I recommended a couple of terabytes of external drives and use this for video storage form the xacti. Sadly, edited video externally will result in harming you unit since it requires its only codec and container as playback. Purchase a HIGH definition TV with multiple HDMI inputs. This will satisfy your eye candy.

as for your pc:
Your grandpa pc just kicked the bucket.

Cresho, Thanks for answering.but I missedsome important part in my last post. It was in middle of my text asfollowing:

-------------

Asmypc has a LED monitorwith DVI imput. what i am thinking to do is to connect Xacti directlytoit by means of a HDMI-DVI converting cable so that xacti will act asa player to display video on the pc monitor without the pc itself. It may help to improve picture quality, butI don't know if the DVI endof theLED is compatible with the HDMIterminal of the Sanyo docking stationor not. It makes me hesitate, 'cause afraid of harming either Xacti or LED.

Another problem is, can i connect Xacti to a separate speakersystem thru the other component/AV terminalof the docking stationsimultaneously in order to get the audio? WIl it synchronize with the video?

Some onewarns that the two outputs on the docking station---- & so on.

Can you give more advice?
