theranman, based on TNN's tests, in darknessthe flash will just barelyreach 3m (10 feet), so I guess, relying on the flash, intimate (one to small group)indoor photos will be fine but large group indoor photos will not unless there is enough lighting, or youuse low res. "Lamp" mode.

"Lamp" mode drops to VGA (640 x 480). I'm taking the word "Lamp" mode from the C5 manual, but I think it should more properly be named "Candle Light" mode (in fact the icon used by Sanyo is of a candle flame). By the way the EXIF "SceneCaptureType" tag only hasfour "modes": 0 = Standard, 1 = Landscape, 2 = Portrait, 3 = Night scene. So this is why the christmas tree photo's EXIFhas "Night scene".

I have a standard (not high speed Ultra) 2gb Sandisk SD card that works fine with the C6.

Do you know the speed? I bought a Patriot 133x 2G SD card and I am not sure it will work either. Was wondering if you guys knew?!?!? Thanks!

I think the Patriot 133x 2G SD card is 9MB write/20MB read.

My PNY 1G x133 SD card that failedis 20MB write/20MB read.

The ADATA 2G x150 SD that failed is 15MB write /22.5MB read.

I think its the high write speed that isthe problemas my C6 could play shots recorded from another camera but not save new shots to the sd card.

The card I am using (successfully so far) is a kingston 1G 2.5MB write/10MB read.

I know this may seem stupid- but based on this info do you think mine will work or not? It has read speed up to 15 and write up to 20. So probably not???!???
