By the way Sanyo has just posted their first sample video for the C40(get the downloadable version for the real thing).Interestingly it has a lot of movement, like a normal guy going around holding a camera. I'm surprised, but glad, they didn't tripod the thing for an ideal sample. I expect they'll post C6 sample videosoon.

I found some more sample pictures and videos at this Japanese website

A colleague in Japan emailed me that the export version, the VPC-C6 will not be
available in Japan until mid December with a suggested price of 60,000 yen.

I just got my new black C6 last night and when I put in my Transcend 2GB 150x SD card, it crashed the camera. I tried to format it but it had no effect.

My standard 1gb works great. What should I do?

Thanks,

Where did you purchase the C6 from? What did you pay for it? I'm looking to buy
one as a Christmas gift fro my wife. Thanks!

ipxpert, did you find this thread because of the post above (Nov 20th)aboutthe guy on kakaku that reported a similar problem? Two people reporting this early on a similarissue with the C6 and that SD card might just confirm a compatibility problem.Slim chanceit's a defective SD or camera. I'm not sure that you can do anything. It could bepossible that that very high speed SD just doesn't work well with this camera.

Ernest at Dynamism took great care of me. I found this thread by searching for 2gb and sd and c6. Does anyone else have confirmation of what kind of 2gb card would work?

Thanks,

ipxpert, it could be a problem with the SD card, have you been able to confirm if it worksin other devices?A really quick search came up with this thread on dcresource(post at bottom of 1st pageby MatH, or search for Transcend).

It worked in my treo650 with no problems. I contacted newegg and they are going to let me rma the sd card. I know the Sandisk 1gb works fine so I might buy a two gb sandisk card instead of trying another high spead or off brand card.

I would like to know what other sd 2gb cards have been tested to work in this device. I hate having to buy only Sandisk since its kind of a premium brand as far as price goes.

The size and style of this camera blew me away. I couldnt believe it when I took it out of the box. I hope the pics and video will be just as good...

I will post some pics or video this weekend when I have time.

Tell Dynamism that Shawn sent ya. * This is not some slick ad for them and I dont work there but it was surprising how well they communicated with me and delivered exactly as promised. This is kind of rare nowadays.

ipxpert,

My C-6 just arrived today. I'm using a Sandisk 2GB SD card. Worked for me without any problems.
