Hmmm can't find this card here in the netherlands for a price like that

To bad, because $98 is about 80 euro. Almost half the price of most 2gb cards..

Bart,

Come on over for vacation and buy the SD card while you're here!:G

Just got my patriot 2g card (off zipzoomfly), initially, it didnt work. I could record onto it and play it back on the C6. But when I tried to sync to my computer, it kept saying "Probably with the memory card". I took it out, made sure it wasnt locked and reinserted it. Now its working. Maybe it just needed some TLC like an old school nintendo game.

Got my C6 yesterday along with a patriot 1 G....

During playback I can here a rattling sound that I believe is the sound of the card spinning (during record)...

Anybody else notice this? Do I have a defective card?

thx,

Um... you're not kidding are you? :?

The card is solid-state meaning there are no moving parts, so it couldn't possibly be the card.. or anything else on the camera for that matter. The internal zoom is motorized but I've never heard the motor on my camera.

What's probably rattling is the lens cap hanging off the string. Can you hear anything loose inside the camera if you gently shake it? Maybe you've got a ring on a finger which taps the case when you shift your grip? I don't have many ideas on this one.

anyone try the panasonic 1 gig hispeed ? im considering spending more money now, so if i change cameras again i wont have to buy sd cards (though the more i think about it that strategy probably isnt worth it). what is the recommended write speed for sd cards in the c5?

edit: my friend in japan says that theres a Greenhouse 1gb sd card at 150x and pqi 1gd sd card at 150x. anyone try those?
