so far the list is (hey, i'm starting this off)

---------------------------------------------------------------------

works on C6:

slow and fast Sandisks 2GB (I used to laugh at people insisting on Sandisk.. i don't laugh anymore)

i found that even a transFlash (from my motorola phone!!!) works great (again Sandisk)

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"from what i read here:

Patriot 133x 2G SD card is 9MB write/20MB read works
----------------------------------------------------------------------

doesn't work on C6:

Personally tried- 150x A-Data 2G, 150x trandsend 2G

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"from what i read here:

PNY 1G x133 SD 20MB write/20MB read

BTW, I received VPC-C6 from warehouse123. it is NOT DMX.

it has REAL ENGLISH manual and EVERYTHING in U.S. spin.

Adata 60x SD Card works. The 150x "Turbo Speed" card does not. Same brand, different speed.

Those 2GB Patriot SD cards are quite cheap from eCost.com, there are two of them.

One for $140: http://www.ecost.com/ecost/shop/detail~dpno~585175.asp
15MB/s write (100x), 20MB/s read (133x).

One for $109 on sale: http://www.ecost.com/ecost/ecdm/shop/detail~dpno~659871.asp
15MB/s write (100x), 20MB/s read (133x).

Which one do you have Steve?? And what the heck is the difference other than price?!

Wow there are some deals to be had!!

For the Sandisk Ultra II 2GB (also 60x), the best deal I found on eBay was for $145:

Yes but look at the postage, it bumps up the prices a fair bit. Also as its coming from HK i'd be wary of paying duty at least here in the UK and having ot return it if it doesnt work.

For the UK, Amazon is selling the standard 2gb sandisk SD card which we know works for £85.99. I've got a 256mb card for now ot get me through christmas. I'll wait to see if the price reduces on this in the new year as I want a 2gb card before i go on my holiday to New Zealand (A photographers paradise) in February.

I also have a 512mb miniSD in my current mobile. I have an SD adapter for thisso i'll try this card when I get my camera on Friday.

The 2GB Patriot Extreme Performance does not work:
http://www.ecost.com/ecost/shop/detail~dpno~659871.asp

It is not the same 2GB Patriot that Steve bought.
