hi all-

i am new to the digital camcorder world and i am still getting to know the c6 i was wondering what are the correct settings to avoid what i call pixelization in some of the videos i shoot? what causes the distortion and how can i get rid of it? it shows up more on my large LCDTV then the computer screen. is there a cam setting to reduce this from happening? is it due to not enough light?

THANKS for the help!!

Undurdog-

It is more due to underexposure than anything else. It can be avoided by using the exposure compensation. Add +0.3 or+0.7 to the exposure and that should take care of the problem

Also be sure to disable the Digital Zoom in setup and only use the real optical zoom. Digital zoom only makes stuff fuzzy, not closer
