I just recieved my Xacti C6 in the mail from Amazon and was really impressed until I recorded my first video.* There was a faint clicking sound in the background.* I have tried to change the settings for noise reduction, but nothing works.* It is very noticeable.* I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem?I called Sanyo tech support, but they said they are not supporting that product yet because it hasn't been released in the US.**

The strange sound comes from our old friend the autofocus and zoom mechanism. This has been a known pet peeve ever since the C1 of the series. You can't really do anything about it unless you want to shoot with manual focus all the time (but there will still be noise when you zoom).

Hi there,My Xacti C6 has the same noise. How's yours when filming music groups? I get heavy distortion even when* filming a relatively soft group like a string quartet.... Is there a way to lower the mics sensitivity? It's fine for speech etc, but even car engine noise will give that horrible 'clipping' of the audio.ThanksSam
