I'm thinking of buying one of these. One thing I like is that it records stereo sound, which would be good for making videos of concerts, etc.

One thing I could not find out about it from what I have read is: does it have an external (stereo) microphone jack? I figure, if one is recording something for which good sound (music) is important, it could probably get better results with an external stereo microphone. (Internal ones are often poor, besides they often pick up mechanical noise from the unit, etc.). Does the unit have a jack for an external microphone?

By the way, I looked for a manual to download for this unit, which should have such info, and I could find none on the Sanyo site. Do they not make their user manuals available to download?

How have people found the sound quality of the unit, when recording music?

moi:

No there is no socket to attach a microphone on the C6.

Steve has the C6 manual here:

The new Sanyo HD1 does support an external microphone.
