Sanyo,

I thought the HD1 had no universal lens thread measurement.

I thought the only accessories that would fit, were those manufactured by JVC.

However, my friend's wide angle lens just arrived (from Sanyo) and is 49mm.

Would other (non-Sanyo) 49mm accessories work with the HD1??

I thought the HD1 had no universal lens thread measurement. Correct. The wide angle lens and the telefoto lens adapters do have threads and I believe that they are 49mm.

I thought the only accessories that would fit, were those manufactured by JVC. I'm not aware of any JVC accessories that will fit the HD1.

However, my friend's wide angle lens just arrived (from Sanyo) and is 49mm. Correct.

Would other (non-Sanyo) 49mm accessories work with the HD1?? Only with the wide or tele lens adapters.

Thanks Sanyo. I understand now.

You need to use the Sanyo Wide Angle or Telephoto as a bridge to other 49mm lenses or filters or whatever.

FYI - I just updated my original thread about this issue of the HD1 Lens / filter size - see http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=27
