Hi all.
I got a C6 the other day and LOVE this camera. The first hybrid camera like this I tried was the Ispan 920.. haha.. what a difference.

Anyway, does anyone know how to reduce redeye with this camera? My understanding is that it's an issue because of how close the flash is to the lense, but I was wondering if there was a setting I could use to reduce the effect.

It's no big deal, it's easy enough to fix in iPhoto, but it'd be nice to reduce it at the source.

Thanks for any info!

There is pretty much nothing you can do in-camera, the flash is just too close to the lens. Some people are so prone to redeye that no hardware canstop it - I know one lady that I call "wolf girl" because she has huge pupils and every flash picture taken of her always has redeye, even the ones from the side... Best to fix redeye in software after capture.

Yeah.. that's the way it is with my son, big giant pupils so every picture is redeyed.

It's easy enough to fix though.

Thanks for the info!

before you use your C6 to take photos for people, you can point a light torch to their eyes for a few seconds, then you take the photos, this should reduce the redeye problem.if the problem still there point the light torch more closer, then it should solve the problem
