Hello,

I've got 3 gb of video to edit but it seems that pinnacle studio 10 and ulead dvd movie factory 5 are not able to edit this type of file ?

When i try to open the files i get the message that the programs not recognize the file type ?

Does anybody have a answer because i'm not happy with this.

Thanks

You said "Ulead Movie Factory 5", which is probably not the version ("MF 4") that comes bundled with the C6.

Instead you should install the Ulead MF 4 on the Sanyo CD, which specifically says "for Sanyo cameras". This version supports the MP4 format of the C6. I don't see any updates for MF 5 that gives support to MP4 file format on Ulead.com.

Folks,

As I've mentions in one of the topics before I use Ulead Video Studio 10 and it works fine for my C6.

Normal video editing software that support MP4 files will work, as more and more do, like Sony Vegas 6. Otherwise, if your video editing software only supports .AVI files, then, as mentionned many times in this forum, simply use open source freeware MP4Cam2AVI to transfer (doesn't convert, so it's lossless) your MP4 files to AVI.
