Thanks all. I expect I will have fun. Don't know how much I will use the touch screen as I expect to have telephoto lens on most of the time and will use the EVF, but it is an interesting feature....

Nice shots. That bird in the first shot really stands out. That heron is a smart one. We have a few that are spending the Winter on a pond up here in Chicago instead of going down there.

Thanks guys. I do enjoy shooting gulls and am glad to share them. Some of them enjoy being photographed also, as long as I have a bit of bread or something.

Nice, especially the part where you have a friend with a mussel boat. I love mussels. And gulls for that matter. I rather like my FZ150 and expect you will have lots of good times with yours.

Play with white balance. Either find a setting that matches the lighting where you are shooting or set it manually, which is quite easy with an FZ camera.

Thanks guys. Glad you enjoyed my gulls. I could shoot them every day as they are my favorite birds. Maybe because I have bad eyes and they are good-sized and usually out in the open.
