I still say stick with EBAY. The mAh isn't TOO important. Just having 3 batteries (the Official Aiptek and 2 eBAY 8210s) will give you ~7 hours of battery life. I wonder if a 1600mAh li-ion battery...

For around $10 you can get 2 8210 3.6v 830mAh batteries from EBAY. Just look for the .99 8210 battery. I have one and it works great, although it doesn't last QUITE as long as the official aiptek.

But a 3 hour timerr isn't a bad idea, open the LCD right at the 3 hour mark to make sure battery isn't in the red zone. You said it yourself...
