I use AFL for those times the subject isn't going to move...I'd switch to MF and use AFL only when distance or zoom is changed.

I don't bother with AEL because in those situations I use M mode.

FYI, in the early days of FourThirds I came across a Sigma 15mm fisheye, but in trying it I found it significantly LESS WIDE then my 14-42mn at 14mm.

IOW, a total waste of money.

Or at least rethink the way you use the camera...things like turning it off when you can, seeting a short time before going to sleep, turning off the display when you're not using it, etc.

You can't see the port connection on the device in the photo, but it's usually a 3/32"-2.5mm connector. This is where the supplied cable plugs into, and the other end plugs into the camera's remote...

Don't know why everyone is making such a fuss about the Canon T4i, when the Nikon J1 and V1 are already mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras with the hybrid PDAF sensor.
