OK---I've decided to leap into the Foveon pool---now where to buy?

On ebay, Cameta auctions has the SD-10 kit for $1499, B&H and Adorama, with whom I've had good service, both list the SD-10 + 2 lens kit for $1599. Or does anyone have suggestions about the SD-10 with any other les combo??

Thanks in advance! Terry in Seattle:?

no replies?? BTW---Steve, why are scammers like "Monsteraudioandvideo" and "mpsuperstore"

listed as places to buy? The have reseller ratings less than 1 (out of 10)--monster is 0.36!!

Hi,

I checked with the engineers at Sigma prior to picking up my SD9 and found few differences between the two cameras, not enough to justify the $400 dollar price tag. I bought my SD9 to see if I wanted to move from film to digital and didn't want to spend $5000 on a digital SLR and be unhappy and poorer. I was originally going to sell the SD9 and move to a kodak DCS/c but after doing a print comparison with similar images, enlarging them, I found the SD9 competes very well with the $4900.00 kodak DCS/c so why move to another camera--I decided to stay with the sigma for now.
