I have make a table to calculate the practical capacity and efficiency.




*** LPH data is used from DPREVIEW's measurements.

*** Don't use for other purpose without permission.

Practical(effective) pixels of Bayer 6MP DSLR is about 2.0~2.4MP only. Because some color informations in a pixel were interpolated.

But, SD9/10 is not interpolated between pixels. the practical pixels is baout 2.4MP. It's slightly higher than other 6MP model, but not much ...

Nice table. But don't forget that color information was denied, those charts are 2 color B&W. That is best case for monochrome photosites (each of which can return black, but it takes 3 or 4to interpolatefull color).
