Have any of you any experience with the adapter linked to by Alf.B in this post:

I'm especially interested in experiences using lenses like Praktica, CZJ, Topcon, MTO, Zenit or similar ??

Ok, slim chance. I just happen to have a box full of them, Like the Carl Zeiss Jena 29/2.8, 135/3.5, TopCon 50/2.4 and so on, all of them great lenses, and I would love to use them on a SD10. 8)

Alternatively- get a Pentax K mount to M42 adapter- should bolt right on as the SA mount is super close to the K mount.......you'll then be able to use those M42 lenses in M mode.

Here's a simple webpage I made showing just how I fit Pentax K mount lenses onto an SD9.......can't say it's the right thing to do for everyone- but it's been working for me and the images have been great!

Europanorama, thanks for the links! If I'm not wrong the Foveon sensor is 13.8X20.7mm, is this normalised in some way in the SIgma, or will, for example, a 29mm Carl Zeiss Jena using this adapter show up as a 36/20.7X29mm=50.4mm lens in everyday use??
