Sony announced a few new cams: DSC-T100-8MP-5x Zoom, DSC-W90-8MP, DSC-W80-7MP Image Stabilization, DSC-T20-8MP Image Stabilization. I guess we'll find about image quality shortly, the cameras are supposed to be available in March.

Did a Google on the W90, and find Sony are about to announce 10 camera's at PMA, including a W200 which show on different sites to be12 Megapixels which will be the largest megapixel P&S camera seen yet, both the W90 and W200 will nowgain image-stabilisation and ISO3200that the current W100does not have.
In addition there will be a H7 and H9 as well as a G1 which no one seems to have any information. |

I'm wondering what the camera above the G1 is. It looks like a new model of the R1?

Seems very strange but the accessories listed on the Sony japan site for the new H7 (the tcon and wcon) are listed as having a thread size of 74mm !!
And just look at the brute of an adapter tube andlens hood that come with the H9. (photo fromAmazon.com) ![]() |

Yes this 74mm thread on the lensis a big problem if you have 58mm teleconverter and various filters, just reading a thread over on dpreview and they can't even find 74mm step rings, it would cost myself a lot of $$$ to have to buy again all my 58mm stuff, guess I will stay with the H5 and F707.
