I was searching on pbase for V1 shots, and this guy claims the pictures are from the v1:
http://www.pbase.com/andyshen/portrait is it possible to do this on a V1? what about a W1? |

Depends how persuasive you are with the laydeez I guess... :-) Seriously, the W1 doesn't do shallow depth of field very well because it has limited and small aperture choice. I don't know about the V1 as it was too big for my needs. I have now had my W12 for almost 2 weeks and I love it. It DID come with a case, and I have alos now bought a tripod and I have the 0.7x and 2.6x lenses coming. Fen |

Hi,
I have a V1 and I absolutly love it. I use it for everything. I'm not into professional photography but I have managed to shoot like the pros on occasion. The V1 does come with a lot of features. When I bought the camera, I had no clue about the theory's of photography, now I know what I am doing and use most of the features the V1 has to offer. For the moment you may think that the W1 will be good for you. But in time, you may want the extra features the V1 has to offer and then your going to kick yourself. It will only come in time. I have a website, www.purpleman.org with a photo gallery section. The V1 stuff stops after March 2004. Hope this helps. Purpleman www.purpleman.org |
