The lens size is very telling in these tests! I'd be curious to see how the H1 would perform.
I'm looking atr this type of comparison for my next Camcorder where apeture size is an even bigger deal. Thanks for thre Info! |

the W7, P200 & 100 all have the same lens so it makse sense that their images look the same. Though Im surprised the V3, which has the same max aperture of F2.8,is darker than those 3 (disappointed too since the V3 is my main camera). Also makes sense the 717 has the brightest/best image. Cool comparo
![]() Edit: just thought of this -You can't assumethat the ISO200 setting on each of these cameras is calibrated for the same actual sensor sensitivity, which throwsa 2nd variable into the mix. (and allows me to think that the V3 pic is dark because the ISO settings are tuned for low sensitivity, rather than the lens being dark:G )Still a neat comparison. |
