I've got a P-100 and I'm very happy with it. Should I upgrade to the P-200? Are the 7 mega pixels that useful? Or should I wait for the next model?
Thanks for your answer... |

I would think it depends on whether the resolution of the P100 is limiting your options during printing or post processing the pictures. If you like to crop heavily and/or make large prints then it might be a useful upgrade. Otherwise, I don't think the picture quality of the P200 compared to the P100 is that much better to justify the swap.

I would not upgrade from P100 to P200, the extra 2Mp is not that big of a deal. I actually shoot 5MP on the P200 and compare it, its not that much.
Only time I use is to shoot without zoom (bigger apperture) on available light with iso400, crop it later. |

... only if you need to make LARGE prints, or if you want to crop in close and then make a large print.
The best difference between the two is the protected LCD screen on the P200. You'd be amazed how many P100s and P150s I get with smashed LCD screens. ![]() |
