Hello All,

Many thanks for your kind words on other threads. I thank you here as not to have the 'last word' on all of my threads.

Some have rightly Asked how big can an H9 image print?

Well here is another attempt by me to show what an H9 image looks like when blown up from the original 4x3 8MP image from the camera to a 32" x 24" image blown-up using Photoshop Elements 4.

I shot this yesterday in one of my favorite 'New York' places.

Used my Circular Polarizer.

PP involved PTLens to correct perspective, as well as Photoshop's Transform Perspective. Being this close to such a huge bridge does put a burden on my H9's 4x3 aspect ratio. Other PP involved Auto Levels and Focus Magic at level 2.

The shot was illuminated by my off camera Canon 550EX flash at full power to paint light on our faces with the strong sun coming from behind us toward the camera. Triggered by my Pocket Wizard with my Wein Slave.

The first image is the completed 32" X 24" resized to 550 pixels jpeg for posting here for reference only.

The following two images include a total of 7 2"x2" crops of the 32" x 24" image, presented here at 72 DPI so you can see the crop almost as it would look on the 32" x24" print.

Hope you find this interesting,

Nicholas

Image 2 of 3:

These crops would be normally viewed at viewing distance of a displayed 32" x 24" print, about 3' away ( +- 1 meter ), not as close as you are to your Monitor/LCD.
