Hi All,
I vote 'Yes' Yesterday we were at the Unisphere in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, New York City. Suddenly 2 Redtail Hawks were soaring about the Unisphere. I knew they were around because when we arrived I heard some squirrels screaching their warning about the hawk, but I saw no hawk. Two Birders were looking into a London Pane tree and suddenly the hawk flew out toward the Unisphere. The Birders followed and started looking up at the Unisphere. I walked upto them and this is what they were looking at: 4 images follow, all 75x Zoom, VGA full size 640x480, Auto Levels, a touch of Focus Magic, Shadow/highlight in Photoshop Elements 4. A rather dark, cloudy, cool day for June. Mother Nature is amazing. And to me, my H9is amazing as well. Regrads, Nicholas |

It feels good to walk around with a camera that can help reveal the world around you right there as you take a shot. I showed the close-up image to th birders and they were happy to get such a close-up look at the baby hawk. Nicholas |

Hi Nicholas,
Very nice shots, I have to agree with you on this one, I love the ability to crazy zoom in on things with the H9, I've used the 75x on many occasions, see one of my pics below taken a few weeks ago. Did you use the 1.7x Tele on your shots? buda |

Thanks All, It was an exciting find. Glad you liked the shots.
No Tele-Converter, didn't have time to slip it on. Didn't want to miss the baby hawk raising his head from the nest. Nice Moon Shot. Nicholas |

Nicholas,
You're saying that you was taken use the digital zoom at 75x, that is just unreal. I didn't think one could get anything at that level of zoom. Thanks for proving me wrong, guess I'll be turning my digital zoom back on next time I'm out shooting. |
