Hello All,
Just got my 74-58 reducing ring and immediately attached my 58 mm Canon 250D Close-up lens ( which I bought years ago ). The following images are eachan original image reduced to 500 pixels wide. Shot handheld on my table with tungsten light from above. The two images of the front and back of the quarter are at about 39mm ( 39x6 = 234 mm at 35mm film equivalent ), the other close up images are web size images of the original 8MP files shot at full tele 79mm ( 465 mm). No cropping. Only PP was AutoLevels.. No other PP. I have shot macros for years and have never been able to capture a quarter handheld with such ease and clarity. It simply amazes me. Can't wait to use my H9 on bugs.. Two images follow. Regards, Nicholas Image 1 of 2: |

Great macro shots, Nick. The images are very sharp and exposure is spot on. Good job!

Thanks, Nick. This little guy was wondering around my deck and since I was taking some macro shots of flowers, I decided to capture the snail as well.
