Hi all still waiting for my h9 to come. I was looking through the owners handbook at the recharging the batt section, can you tell me if the batt is removed to charge it does one then have to reset the time and date every time the batt is removed for charging...or does it have a back up?

Hi Foxcub6,
The camera keeps the time regardless of the battery status. How? I never thought about it. Maybe the H9 has a tiny internal battery for the clock which it automatically charges when needed. Just guessing. Here in the US the H9 cames with a battery charger that plugs into the wall outlet. I do remember reading there is a different method for your market. Check the Handbook or User Manual on the Sony Download page. Nicholas |

Croatian version contains an AC adapter that plugs directly into the camera.
Standalone chargers must be purchased separately. I've sprung for this piece of equipment because of much faster charging times, and truth be told, this charger is way smaller than the AC adapter. |

My US version came with the kind that plugs into a wall socket.
I also invested in the Sony BC-TRG Travel Charger for Sony G Series Batteries. It charges a the batteries *whole lot faster* than the charger that came in the box. -- mercurycu |
