Hi All, I just bought a used Sony Cyber-shot F505 2.1 mp digicam for my son, which came along with 2 batteries. I charged both the batteries for more than 5 hours each, but i realised the batteries were drained quiet fast when about 30-35 minutes of power was remaining (displayed in the camers LCD) I just wanted to know, if the batteries need replacement or does it indicates some problem with the camera. Also, I would like to know what was the actual life of a Lithium battery after it's first charge. Thanks and Regards ak |

I have a F505v with the same battery problem as you described. I had to buy a new (and expensive) battery to go around the problem. I charched my old battery several times but still it run for just a short time. It shows 30 minutes in the display and next the camera shuts down.

Hi Rbi,
I had some more queries; 1. Did the New battery solve your problem, 2. Was it a Sony brand or some generic battery. If there is any thing else you would like to share in terms of the said battery, you are welcome. Regards ak |
