I was planning to buy Sony DSC-W1 until I read this forum. Some of you said that Sony W1 sucks because of the pictures taken are too 'soft'. Now, if I don't purchase W1, which other camerasshould I buythat canoffer me 4 megapixels resolution and above, 1.8"or biggerLCD screen, good quality pictures, unlimited length movie mode and falls around the same price region as W1? Please advise me. Thanks!! :)

The W1 is a decent camera, you really need to try it out for yourself before you can make a decision on what you have heard about it.

The new Canon SD300 comes to mind; however I cannot vouch for the photo quality-I haven't used the camera, and there hasn't been many reviews on this. Only review I can remember of is www.dcresource.com

Canon photo quality is usually very good.
