after 2 months of waiting for my camera to arrive from sony (sent for cleaning dirt of the sensor) i received the camera (clean sensor and all) happy and joyful and eager to takepics but not 1 hour passed and theirs an ugly mark at the upper right corner of my pictures. some dirt particle has eneterd the lens enclosure again
![]() but anyways i was really not that upset about this prob this time coz i'll be upgrading to something way better in a while ![]() style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000" |

I wouldn't try compressed air as you may push more dust into the lens assembly. Get yourself a strong vacuum cleaner with a plastic nozzle that will go over the lens assembly when it is extended, turn the vac on and lightly tap the side of the camera. This worked well on my P100 that had dirt in the lens.

I have had great success with the "Vacuum Micro Attachments Kit" available at Cyberguys (www.cyberguys.com) for $7.95. It hooks up to any upright or canister vacuum, and has saved me two trips (so far) to Best Buy for a warranty-covered cleaning. It is also great for cleaning keyboards, drives, computer cases, and any electronic device.
