Neither - I'd buy the Canon S70 - wide angle lens and more control.

I did my homework prior to purchasing the Sony P150, and I can say I am very happy. I have been a photo enthusiast for many years, and I am a professional scanning/digital retouch artist. The Sony is great, especially for candid and "street" photography. Ritz cameras has the unit in black, very svelte. The test results on the C7000 were just posted by Steve this week, and image quality looks as good or maybe even better than the Sony's. But the C7000 is a bit chunkier, and $100. more expensive. I would still get the Sony. Hope that helps!

Countless hours of researching brought be down to these same 2 camera. I've had 3 Olympus models (latest is the C-4000) - all have been great, so I was very drawn to the C-7000. It has some big pluses over the P150 -- RAW support, full manual controls, xD cards are a touch cheaper than MS (Pro). Pluses of the P150 are its size, price, and available accessories (lenses & slave flash). If you don't need all the manual controls of the C-7000, or if you want a "take anywhere" camera, definitely go with the P150. I just ordered mine tonight from J&R for $399 shipped. And if you don't really need 7 megapixels, go with the Sony DSC-W1 -- very close to the P150 in almost every way, but a touch larger (still ultra-compact) and much less pricey.
