Default Considering the TX5... Question for all users

Hi, I am currently in the market for a shockproof camera, and TX5 is one of the top contenders. I have a dsc t200 which I complain about producing sort images, as it seems to be the case with some Sony cameras, in your experience is this the case with TX5?

what are "sort images"??

I have the camera.
I like it alot, the wife hates it.
She doesn't like it because indoor "point and quickly press shutter" shots are a little poor. I point, half press and then press and get better pix but I see what she means.

It is waterproof though (survived filming under Niagara Falls) and shockproof when dropped (twice!) from hand onto concrete....
