hey there evryone.
i own a F717, got it for a steal from one of my buddies and havent taken the manual from him yet so just wanted to know if it is possible to take BW photos with the F717. thanks. Bryce. (South Africa) |

I don't think so. Only sepia. You can use Photoshop or other to change it to grayscale.

Your best bet is to shoot in color and the convert to black and white later. There are plenty of free programs that can do it. Also, if you have Photoshop or have access to it, it provides several ways to covert to black and white that will produce more interesting results than simply desaturating.

Try converting to b&w by making a grayscale image out of just the red channel. That can often produce some really cool results.
