My P92 is showing a movie framerate of 25 Fps in 640x480 mode & in 160x112 mode. Everything paper/web/steve's review says 16 FPS. My video software also shows 24.999 fps. Can anyone confirm this as well. Not a complaint, actually it's beautiful on my PC and when the camera is attached to the TV. Tnx.
Cheers! (Oh my first post here as well.) ![]() |

My P-92 records at 16 fps...
Maybe your software plays back at 25fps, at increased speed? When I connect my camera to a TV, I can see clearly that it is not 25 fps. But maybe you're lucky? New model? Sounds unlikely though. |

The firmware in the DSC-P10 and DSC-P92 reports 25fps, when it's actually only 16, from what I can see.
I owned a Sony DSC-P10 briefly earlier this year, and noticed this. It appears to be a firmware bug for the speed reported by the camera for movie clips. |

which side of the atlantic are you on DIGIPICS?
the reason is there is a difference. european movie standard is 25fps. US movie standard is 24fps. |

If you look at Steves video (MOV00126.MPG) for p92, it's 189 frames and videotime is 7.56 s...that will give 25fps. Have anyone else checked that?
