dsc-s85

I am looking at the S85 but can't find anywhere if it has a time and date stamp.
The S75 does, so I would assume the 85 does, but would like to be sure before ordering one. I could use any help anyone has. Thanks Jered

Jered,
You would be hard pressed to find a digicam that costs over $50 that does not. Are you looking for the time/date to be permanet on picture or in background . click on this link and scoll down pic, all this info saved invisable when picture taken. time/date blank as I have not set it in camera yet.

Thanks for the help Gary.
Mostly I would like to be able to put the date right on the picture if I want to. I would have thought that all cameras would be able to do this too. But when I was comparing the S-75 to the S-85 at Best Buy's site it said yes for the 75 and no for the 85. I've been to as many sites that i can find, and nowhere in any of the stats can I find where it confirms that it does. With your reply I now feel that Best Buy's information must be wrong.

This is the page at Best Buy that had me concerned.

Thanks again Jered
