I just bought the H9 on Tuesday to replace my Olympus Stylus 600. Overall I love the camera but am having some problems with it. I'm a novice so I'm thinking it is my fault. I occasionally get the fisheye effect when completely zoomed out. If I'm indoors some of the walls and vertical lines will bow out. What causes this? I usually shoot on manual mode becuase I don't know enough yet about cameras to set it up manually.

BTW, is there a good website for me to learn the basics of photography? I took some photography courses in college 10 years ago but it was all about 35mm and I forgot all the basics. Thanks.
