That kit and ebay pricing appears quite good (USD 43.95 including shipping if I read it correctly).
I am guessing, though, the circular polarizer is not the best-coated version as total pricing seems very cheap. You will find the Lens Hood, Lens Cap, and Polarizer very useful ... the other stuff probably not. IMHO! BE ABSOLUTELY SURE that specific tube adapter fits your H1 ... I personally do not know for sure but doesn't the H1 have 56mm threads and the V3 48mm?...the ad says Sony V3. And, yes, aluminum/metal is probably better than plastic. I strongly suggest you firstcheck http://raynox.com/and elsewhere for lenses and tube adapters and http://2filter.com/ (I use 2filter.com almost exclusively for all my filter needs) for filters.
